According to a tradition, his ancestors belong to the Qureshi (Abbasi) dynasty. They came form Arabia along with Hazrat Muhammad bin Qasim to India and after passing through Multan, finally settled in Lou Lou Valley of Kashmir. They also traded in the Lou Lou gems and pearls and as such their alias came to be called "Lou Lou". Thereafter, when Hazrat Syed Jala-ud-Din Surkah Bukhari Suhrawardy RA arrived in Kashmir from Bukhara, his ancestors took 'Bait' at his hands and entered the fold of Suhrawardis sect, and then along with him settled down in Uchh Sharif, Tehsil Ahmedpur East, and District Bahawalpur.
It has another tradition, they came along with him from Bukhara and as such it appears that they were affiliated with the dynasty of Saadaats of Bukhara. In any case, their family is affiliated with Hazrat Syed Jalal-ud-Din Bukhari RA, which is an established fact.
